A trip down memory lane...

One of the most important trips of my life. Not only was this the trip that put life in perspective for me but this was also the journey to some of the most important decisions in my life. Yeah, drama:)

Good bye China...it's been real!

So I'm back at the airport. I've been traveling for what feels like 100 years...ok it's been a little over a month, but still. I'm at the airport right now, on my way back to Addis for a few days and then back to the worlds cleanest country also known as Shhwiden (Sweden). It's amazing how I'm almost 10 hours early for my flight yet I'm not the first one here. Can you believe it?

Travel: On the road//China

All day today was spent at the factory with Nicole and Mr.Phyllis. Let's just say that I have newfound respect for sign language. For anyone who plans on doing business in China...word of advice...learn Mandarine/Cantonese.

I'm sooo surprised and sort of amazed of how things have turned out...in my life that is, but we'll get into that later. Over the past month I have been in Istanbul, Addis Abeba, Bangkok and now Guangzhou. Pretty cool I must say.

I've realized that you can't really plan and control life. If you do you may miss the great surprises that are in store. How's that for philosophy?:)

Finally some wifi up-in-here. I am traveling and my internet situation is not happening right now. Life without connection makes you feel so disconnected...get it?:) Anyway, I have lots of fun things to share with you. My initial plan was to go to China and see the great wall...and somehow I ended up in Istanbul (I always wanted to go). I love Turkey! Great country with great people...and right now I'm in Africa. Life has a way of being extremely unpredictable...gotta love it! Next stop China.

Copenhagen...

Good news and bad news. The good news is that I was bumped up to first class. Whut-whut:) Seriously though...I always need the extra space (I'm not tiny). So there I was, with legroom and all...needless to say, I was majorly excited and slightly in love with myself. Now on to the bad news. I flew with SAS, Scandinavian Airlines (fail) and their movie selection SUCKS. Not only does it suck, but their system sucks. The movies are on repeat and you will basically start a movie midway though unless you time that sucker. Now my question is: How in the world am I supposed to know the schedule, especially if it's not listed anywhere. I'm so confused!! Aaarggh!!! Anyway, I saw the first or last half of what I think were five terrible movies.

Glad I made it safe though...

Back from Paradise//I'm home...

I must say that I will miss Cape Town. The mountains, the clouds, the water and everything in between. It's almost as if this city was created with me in mind...yes, I love myself:) This is the perfect place for creativity, I'm seriously in love.

I'm in Cape Town and all I can say is, it's AMAZING. It's so much more than I expected and definitely different from anywhere else I've been. The other day I went to Cape Point and actually wrote Yosh's name in white stones and shells on a cliff. Who's auntie il numero uno now?? Yeah buddy! Really I meant to use a markie, but I didn't have one with me. Tomorrow I'm visiting Robben Island, which is where Nelson Mandela spent 30 years in prison during apartheid.

Vacation Time//Cape Town here I come!

Off I go!!! I can't wait to explore this city. It's definitely something to cross off my to-do-in-life list. This trip couldn't have come at a better time. Hopefully this is exactly what the doctor ordered. It's definitely time to regroup and become re-inspired (is that even a word, who cares...I'm going to South Africa). Don't worry, I will keep you posted!! Even though I have sucked at updating lately.

M.I.A no more!

I am in Sweden. Yes, I ran away! Ok, not really...but I am here. This is the first time I'm actually sitting down in front of my computer. I have so much to show you guys...and I will, but not right now. I get that this posting makes zero sense right now, and you're probably wondering "why is this crazy lady even logged on", the answer is "because this crazy lady can", mohahaha! On that note I shall sign out and leave you innocent people alone:)

SHOEGASM anyone?

So, believe it or not, right before my daddy went back to Europe he told me that he wanted to take me shopping. He told me I was allowed to buy anything I wanted and he would go into every single store with me, and NOT complain (am I dying and not aware?). Obviously you guys don't know my father, but the only thing that he hates more than going shopping with my mother, my sister and I, is fast food, which probably makes no sense to you, but wharreverrr:) Anyway, the man lasted for 45 minutes, which may not sound like much but it really is to my beloved Papa. I was only able to go into to one store, SHOEGASM in SoHo, before he was talking about how hungry and exhausted he was.

What is it about men and shopping?? Everyone man in my life, my brothers, cousins, father, uncles...even my love has issues when it comes to shopping for clothes. I don't get it! I feel like it's in style for men to whine when it comes to shopping with a girl. I love clothes...but even I hate the idea of shopping for hours. I can't do it, but this is extremely exaggerated! Is there a "Universal Boys Guide" that tells  them what to like and dislike. Weird!

Anyway, I was able to get these lovely brown flats. I'm obsessed:)
