America truly is the land of lawsuits! It's actually rather ridiculous! Early this morning I called a clinic to make an appointment for someone who hurt their arm while working. Immediately the woman on the other end started grilling me about lawsuits, workers comp and other extremes. I told her that the person just needed to get checked and possibly get something for the pain. Once she realized that I wasn't really trying to make money off of this, she quickly lost interest and gave me the number to a random free clinic.
