I'm finally going through the resort collections for 2013. This has kind of become my favorite season, not that I don't love the Spring/Summer collections but  after spending half of this summer in Sweden/Europe aka "the land that summer forgot". I'm beginning to think we should have just skipped to Resort right away. If that's not payback, I don't know what is.

Once you go BLACK

I love this look on Olivia Palermo. An all black outfit is such a chic look, especially if it has textures and maybe even some layers. I'm always a little extra scared of peplum tops but I'm learning it ain't nothin' to be scurrd of :) Very nice.

Yellow is Mellow

We painted the town yellow last night, at least I did. It was great until it started raining...what can be done? We are after all in Sweden. It was fun though:)

Filling in the blanks

I'm so confused about this weather. One day it's super warm and the next it's raining and absolutely insane. My best bet is to layer up and strip as I go. It doesn't really help that Big Ruth is calling me every weekend to tell me what happened at the pool that day.

Right now I'm on my way to my non-paying internship/"we have taken care of you your entire life therefore you shall learn the family business" job. I don't mind though, it's actually really fun. I don't know too much about construction and building but I do love seeing a finished product as well as the process of getting it there. I have about one more month of this, just in time for my Shukorina stuff to be done. Yeah, baby!

Red on Red on Red// Mira Duma

Mira Duma is one of the most stylish girls I've seen. I'm not a huge fan of red and black together but the  outfit is gorg! This is such a cool spin of the pant suit.

Color me bowtie...

It's really sad how I'm trying to wear my dads old bow tie from the 70's every chance I get these days. I've always found bow ties and neckties really corky and very stylish. My secret tie fantasy is to rock a "his and hers" outfit...good luck to me finding a guy who would agree to that. A great bow tie, add some color and voila, you're on to something! I have actually pitched the whole matching outfits to a few in the past, but the "you're corny" looks I've gotten have always been majorly discouraging. It will get done though! Isn't it nice that I set these amazing goals for myself:)
